COURSE INFORMATION:
Being able to communicate effectively is perhaps the most important of all life skills. Communication is the backbone of any society. It allows us to form connections, influence decisions, and motivate change. In this course, students will learn how to communicate effectively through a variety of technology tools and how to actively listen and respond to others.
CURRICULUM:
DAY 1: Introduction
In this section, you will be introduced to the concept of communication as an interpersonal skill. We are going to begin the course by looking at the types of communication and work through real-life scenarios based on:
- Verbal Communication
- Nonverbal Communication
- Visual Communication
- Written Communication
You are also going to complete a cool communication challenge using the Flipgrid app!
DAY 2: Design a communication website
In this section, you are going to design a website with examples of the different types of communication. You are also going to create fun communication videos and designs for your website using Flipgrid and Canva.
After completing your website, you are going to share your thinking pattern / ideas with the rest of the future thinking class through reflective and creative thinking.
DAY 3: Conflict Resolution, Mediation and Patience
Conflict is a normal, natural part of everyday interactions. In this section, you will learn how to resolve and manage conflict appropriately and positively.
We are going to explore with strategies to help you resolve conflict:
- Establish what the disagreement is
- Be empathetic
- Talk about emotions
- Brainstorm solutions
- Create a problem-solving box

Our students don’t simply learn content, but truly explore with it. They actively take part in classes by completing challenges, sharing ideas and having discussions.
We not only equip students with theoretical knowledge, but also empower them with future thinking skills through a variety of exciting hands-on projects.
Certificate of Achievement
We all love being rewarded for our hard work! At the end of each course, students will complete several innovative short course assessments in their own time. This includes quizzes, mini online assessments and fascinating projects.
Once students have completed the assessments, they will receive a cool course certificate.

What do I need to attend your classes?
All our live courses are conducted online in small groups using cutting-edge virtual learning tools. Students will need access to a computer with a built-in microphone and webcam, as well as a strong internet connection.
Some courses require additional resources like pens and paper, however, our courses are designed with everyday materials in mind, especially stuff commonly found around the house.
Should a student be required to make use of a third-party tool like an app or website, steps on how to install / access the platform will be explained in our course welcome pack.
Can I change the dates / times of your classes?
All our courses are conducted live, therefore dates / times cannot be changed. We believe that by providing live classes, our students are able to actively take part in the lessons, ask questions and provide feedback. Once students register, they commit to completing the course on the days and times indicated.
Our courses are presented throughout the year – we encourage parents and students to keep an eye on our website for future dates if they are not able to complete the course on the stipulated dates / times.
How can I follow up on my child's progress?
All our lessons are recorded and sent to students / parents. We encourage parents to view the recordings. Parents are welcome to contact the instructor for any feedback.
How does payment and registration work?
You can register by clicking / tapping on any of the ‘ENROL NOW’ buttons. Once you have completed the course registration form, an invoice will be sent to you via email.
After making payment, a course welcome pack which explains everything you need to know, including how to log in to our world-class learning platform and other fantastic resources will be sent to you.
What about the online safety of my child?
We create online learning experiences that are safe and empowering for kids. Safety and privacy are paramount as learning and creativity can’t happen unless everyone feels safe.
Our online classes can only be joined by students who have registered for the course and instructors, better known as Future Thinking Captains who have passed rigorous background checks. We do not allow anyone over 18 to join our online classes.
Our Future Thinking Captains answer students’ questions, and provide encouraging feedback.

These incredible Future Thinking Captains believe in creating positive change in the lives of students by equipping them with super future thinking skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, innovation and more!

To me, future thinking involves creating captivating stories and showing the world what our learners and teachers are capable of. Education is not about quantity and traditional thinking, it is about quality and exploring new ways of teaching and learning.
Improving the quality of education by encouraging learners to become leaders in classrooms and motivating teachers to embrace change and future thinking is what drives me. I have worked with several international, as well as local businesses and schools over the years, making it my mission to elevate brands and education.
